One that comes to mind many years ago was Charlie Babineaux. Robe sent him to Ju Co then recruited him really hard to come back here. He chose to go to Ole Miss and had a very good career there and a short minor league stint.

That's pretty much what happened with all three players brought up in the post from what I understand.

I agree you don’t want guys here that aren’t bought in. But why aren’t they bought in, especially when playing time wasn’t the issue?

Sure, all games are filmed. But not at the quality of a broadcasted game (more quantity with multiple angles).

The difference? UL would have posted the catch right after it happened. They might post it later but who knows if they had a good shot.

In the case of kids being sent to Ju Co for development purposes or roster management they do go back to where they came from pretty often, if you look at the big sample size and not just Louisiana.
