There is only one Nathan Nelson type. Dude was an animal.

Big cost is not having ESPN quality video for a Top 10 play.

Cost of not broadcasting a game is big.

Trust me when I tell you they want him back more than he wants back. He has many offers and was on a recruiting trip when Deggs called and said don’t agree to anything before talking with us. We are gonna make you an offer you can not refuse. In the baseball world of partial scholarships you have to be highly sought after to get that kind of offer.

One that comes to mind many years ago was Charlie Babineaux. Robe sent him to Ju Co then recruited him really hard to come back here. He chose to go to Ole Miss and had a very good career there and a short minor league stint.

Charlie and his family live a few houses over from us. Trust me when I tell you, he still hasn’t forgotten about that.

He grew up in my neighborhood and our families are very close. He and my younger brothers were best friends growing up. He still tailgates with us. I know.

Players don't go back to schools from which they were cut.

Pretty sure I read where the kid hasn’t made a public announcement yet and KK didn’t want to steal his thunder by making it public before he does. I hope you feel good about yourself.

    Shameful.

In the case of kids being sent to Ju Co for development purposes or roster management they do go back to where they came from pretty often, if you look at the big sample size and not just Louisiana.

Sure they do when the reason they were sent to JU CO wasn't a talent issue at all. When the coach realizes he is a better 3rd baseman than any he has had in the last 3 years, can crush the ball, and the coach makes him an offer he can not refuse. They'll come back. All circumstances are different. The kid I speak of had a pretty attractive offer to Miss State out of high school. He is SEC type talent.

The kid that was an outfielder that ended up at TCU and was a drafted is another one. His name escapes me right now
