This is good news. It’s also an opportunity to create interest in our product locally. As much as it’s great to build the brand up nationally, Saturday home games are needed to put butts in the seats.

ULM to open conference play? Interesting.

This is a good schedule. I wish costal or app were on there because there’s developing rivalries there, but stAte on a Saturday sandwiched between Marshall and Southern miss makes that a really cool part of the schedule.

I’m so happy to have the new conference members, but it’s SO Sun Belt to put the first meeting between UL and Southern Miss as conference rivals on a Thursday night so that we can’t travel to Hattiesburg.

Overall, though, I like the schedule. We’ll know who we are in October.
