As I read through the thread, I could only think that we have a lot of fair-weather fans or as some like to say casual fans. The big inning happened when our pitchers had pouring rain coming down. Not making excuses but that played a role. We made no errors and was out hit by two. Yes, we didn't get the timely hits but when given the fielding chances we played well. No, we didn't get the results we wanted but it's not the end of the world. We get Bama again on Sunday with no rain let's see how it goes. We may or may not win but I would bet you won't see all the walks and hit batters in one inning. P.S. Bama is no. 2 for a reason.

This is a young team, and told some friends not to get carried away after last weekend. This team will continue to grow and develop. But you can't give a Top 10 team extra outs by hitting batters and walking them. That's a recipe for disaster against a lineup like Alabama. Learn and grow from it.

Good observations. The bad home plate ump should have stopped the game until the heavy rain subsided. Kandra, and probably the others, were having trouble gripping the ball. Looking forward to probably Sam Landry against Fouts Sunday.
