UL Needs

I just watched the press conference. This is the most excited ive been about UL since the Louisville game in the tourney. Im critical of UL athletic department quite often, but I think UL really stepped up to the plate with this hire. I just want to remind people that it will probably take a year or two to get things going. But I expect the cajundome to start filling up again this season.

_ In his radio interview with Scott Prather yesterday, Coach Marlin said they plan to recruit the local area first. Of course that means the players in the area must be ones with talent to play D1 ball and that is a subjective opinion that he is much more qualified than any of us to give. _

And any coach also knows that a community the size of lafayette and its surrounding Acadiana area wants to hear that he will first and foremost recruit its home players. That's logical and if you're going after a Perry Stevenson, Markel Brown, Ryan Francis etc..It's completely understandable and expected.
