Wallace was a 3 star recruit when he signed, Gradnigo was all state and a 3 star recruit and Bureau almost signed with LSU as he was a prolific scorer and all stater. What does the PPG or awards these kids get in high school have anything to do with the type of player they will or could be at the next level? _

I have seen these three kids play, they are very talented and have recieve good honors. Again, Gradnigo not MVP of the district, neither was Wallace, Bureau came no where near signing with LSU either man, get you facts straight. I dont now a kid that has choosen UL over LSU in 20 years man. Why are you so against local talent?

_ Since coach Dixon and Williams arrived last summer, I never ever heard either one say anything bad about another member of the coaching staff per my sources within the program, close to the program and at the school. And that says something considering the amount of time and effort that was put into covering the team.

You might want to talk to your sources again. The real deep ones. He is out of the picture anyway. There is nothing more to talk about.

Mr. Parrott, I certainly appreciate your professionalism. Cajuntime obviously has am agenda and it doesn't look pretty. I have known you to be a fair and objective reporter. Keep up the good work. I'm pretty sure coach Dixon can take care of himself as professionals usually do, like you.

Not quite sure randyleb connection to Coach Dixon over the other two assistants was the point of my post. He quickly said keep Dixon over keep
current assistants. That was my question. I see that the response was he has experience moving often it seems. I just was looking for a
justification. One could say Williams has the connection most of our players need Being a coach in the European league. This could be a draw for recruits. I have not heard he is a bad coach. Lebato is a local coach who knows the area and the local recruiting. He appears to be the one who handles all the affairs of the players off the court. I was only pointing out that if we are going to speak up for one assistant we need focus on all three.

Travis Bureau chose the Cajuns over the Tigers. Granted, both were offering him preferred walk on opportunities vs a scholarship, however he did choose to come here vs Baton Rouge and earned a scholarship.

_ I hope he hires some guys with good connections in Louisiana, we have a lot of home town talent right here. Those kids bring in more fans and family members. Three off the top of my head would be Donovan William - 25 ppg, 6'2" PG/2G, Cecilia HS, Jacoby Colbert - 18ppg, 6'2" slasher and jump shooter, Westgate HS, Xaiver Blackburn - 17ppg, 6'3" GF, knows how to play big and rebound. Those three guys will bring in a 1000 fans by themselves every home game. _

Look... I am all for signing local kids. But I've been following UL basketball for decades and it is wrong to think that signing local kids "brings the fans". It does not.

I'm for bringing in the best kids we can... nor matter where in the hell they are from.
