Don’t think I saw this here, but I saw on FB yesterday that it was the last day for the OLOL fitness center in the MOB parking garage on St Mary. Comments were mostly about how much it will be missed, but it was pointed out that this was due to UL buying all the MOB’s from the diocese. Someone also said that OLOL tried to remain there but that were told by UL no, because it not fit into their plans for the building/area. Just found that all very interesting.

Work is starting this semester to remodel so the College of Nursing can begin their move to the new campus.

Wow. Did not know this, but great news. There are a lot of us that never thought we’d live to see the day of us actually moving into the St Landry campus.

And I have heard that us acquiring the main OLOL campus is a done deal, and that that announcement will be made sooner rather than later.

Physical therapy is still in the building. I go three times a week for two hours for each visit. I am not sure how long physical therapy will be there. I heard some conversations, but I will ask on Friday.

Yeah, please do. Would be curious to see what they tell you. Which mob do u go to? I would think the same one that has the fitness ctr on the first floor.

I am downstairs for the first hour of physical therapy and then upstairs for the second hour of occupational therapy.

Lourdes did not want to pay rent for the pool and the workout area. So they are moving offices to take up less space. My understanding is that there is no timeline right now for physical and occupational therapy to move.
