I wanted to see how this team would rebound from a Friday night loss, and they responded well today. I'm not concerned about the pitching rotation at this point because I do believe it's not set yet. Schultz will be fine in his role. Thuett gained valuable experience today against a quality opponent. One game at a time.
Rubber Match tomorrow, gentlemen. A chance to take down a Top 20 ranked team.
This is fun!
Who had a hissy fit and “bumped” into Tony years ago? Then thrown out?
Irvine is very disciplined at the plate. Over the first two games, they have laid off of a bunch of good pitches some of which were strikes IMO but they were taking what the umpire was giving them.
I think this team will pitch and so far, this is the Deggs offense we have yearned for since 2014.
