Those are mostly corporate sponsor tickets.

    Yep....

Credit to UCIrvine. They are a very solid club. Some of the best and most consistent bunts I've seen a team put down in a long time.

All those tickets were sold. There was no question tv would keep some away tonight because of the cold and wind.

And, you can direct some of your comments to those on this board who got really excited when tv came on. Some of them have season tickets.

get used to it. 80% of the folks on this board don't have a baseball mentality and look at it like it's football. Drives me nuts.

TR was in RF because he has an arm injury. It’s also why JBo was at 3rd.

TR makes both of those throws to 1B. I’m not concerned one bit our defense. In fact, down right giddy.

Durke is touching 96 with 2-3 inches of movement on his 4 seamer, per the ump at the last scrimmage.

His breaking ball and change are still not deceptive enough out of the hand, in my opinion. But! If we can get consistent with those pitches, he’s a star.

    Command looks better though.

They are really freaking good. They scored 7. Could have scored 12.
Frias battled and they are solid defensively. Super athletic. Well coached.

They are a legit top 25 ball club.

Maybe I’m too optimistic but…. When UCI had the two run bomb to go up and we answered immediately with a 2 run bomb in the bottom of the inning I got flashbacks to 2014 regional game 1 against Miss St. I’m pumped.

I agree with this. Some of these people will be calling for the coach's head if we lose another one. I was unable to make the game last night because I had made a promise to my bride for a night out, but I plan on being there today and tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing how the view is from my (non-corporate) season ticket.

I also think it is hilarious that some here criticize the crowd while they are sitting at home during the game.

I'm someone who doesn't go to a lot of baseball games. I enjoyed it. Some takeaways. Most of the UL players are huge in their build. Even though it was the other team, their execution of small ball was very impressive. I didn't like what happened in UL's last at bats. Two batters with two strikes watched the ball go right down the middle and called for a third strike without even attempting a swing.

I'll be there again today and tomorrow. Hoping for a better outcome. The Anteaters are legit.

The irony of “the crowd looks bad on my tv” escapes them I guess
