Maybe I’m too optimistic but…. When UCI had the two run bomb to go up and we answered immediately with a 2 run bomb in the bottom of the inning I got flashbacks to 2014 regional game 1 against Miss St. I’m pumped.

I agree with this. Some of these people will be calling for the coach's head if we lose another one. I was unable to make the game last night because I had made a promise to my bride for a night out, but I plan on being there today and tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing how the view is from my (non-corporate) season ticket.

I also think it is hilarious that some here criticize the crowd while they are sitting at home during the game.

I'm someone who doesn't go to a lot of baseball games. I enjoyed it. Some takeaways. Most of the UL players are huge in their build. Even though it was the other team, their execution of small ball was very impressive. I didn't like what happened in UL's last at bats. Two batters with two strikes watched the ball go right down the middle and called for a third strike without even attempting a swing.

I'll be there again today and tomorrow. Hoping for a better outcome. The Anteaters are legit.

I just wanted to point out how well Julian Brock played last night. Absolute brick wall behind the plate. A CS as well.

The Anteaters were amazing when they laid down the bunt. I am sure that Deggs will have the team working on defending small ball next week, but those California boys looked like some of the Cajun teams of old when they laid down those bunts.

They are really freaking good. They scored 7. Could have scored 12.
Frias battled and they are solid defensively. Super athletic. Well coached.

They are a legit top 25 ball club.

Very solid regional looking team, if you can say that after one game, but I just did.

Our best reliever last year got hammered last night. I think we’ll be alright. We still struck out looking 7 times last night which is a much bigger concern

…….SWING THE BAT!…..lBut we had some shots right at them and they had flukes to score or help score runs…the triple to left field ……the could have been double play that had our ss going the wrong way to cover 2nd….we play hard and we like that!
