Team certainly “looks the part.”

I just wanted to point out how well Julian Brock played last night. Absolute brick wall behind the plate. A CS as well.

REALLY impressed with him behind the dish.

I'm someone who doesn't go to a lot of baseball games. I enjoyed it. Some takeaways. Most of the UL players are huge in their build. Even though it was the other team, their execution of small ball was very impressive. I didn't like what happened in UL's last at bats. Two batters with two strikes watched the ball go right down the middle and called for a third strike without even attempting a swing.

I'll be there again today and tomorrow. Hoping for a better outcome. The Anteaters are legit.

The Anteaters were amazing when they laid down the bunt. I am sure that Deggs will have the team working on defending small ball next week, but those California boys looked like some of the Cajun teams of old when they laid down those bunts.

They are really freaking good. They scored 7. Could have scored 12.
Frias battled and they are solid defensively. Super athletic. Well coached.

They are a legit top 25 ball club.

Very solid regional looking team, if you can say that after one game, but I just did.

Our best reliever last year got hammered last night. I think we’ll be alright. We still struck out looking 7 times last night which is a much bigger concern

…….SWING THE BAT!…..lBut we had some shots right at them and they had flukes to score or help score runs…the triple to left field ……the could have been double play that had our ss going the wrong way to cover 2nd….we play hard and we like that!

Brock is a dude I’ve been waiting to see become a big time player for us. His high school resume said he’s legit from the start.

He's seeing a steady diet of breaking balls after the line drive he hit on a fastball yesterday and has struggled. He's going to keep seeing them until he starts making solid contact.

Wondering if it drove you nuts that Deggs specifically talked about our botched bunt defense in pregame today. I’ll admit that I was critical in game one, but call a spade a spade. When you have college baseball players that don’t have the fundamentals down, it’s frustrating. I think this team has a chance to be very good. I will also point out when things we learned in little league aren’t being executed. I expect solid baseball, just like anyone on this board should.
