Winning 40 with our schedule is going to be a mountain.

36 wins (in order to give us less than 20 losses) with a shot to win in the conference tournament seems like a target to strive for this season, but you are correct that in up 4-2 in games, can’t just fall apart on defense.

This is only GAME 1 of an entire 55 games season, though, and I think we’ve show we can play with a Top 20 team. Let’s see what the next two days bring.

Looks like a Deggs style team for the first time. He will probably emphasize getting runners on to maximize return on those HRs. I think pitching will be something they are going to figure out over the next few weeks. Ray looked very sharp. Hopefully defense cuts down on mistakes. Irvine looks about as fundamentally sound as you get.

Btw, Robertson was in RF I believe.
