I like a lot of what they have, but every item that I’m looking for (a long-sleeve button down shirt) has the hot wheels logo. Looking for a simpler logo……preferably just a FDL, but maybe the stacked logo….so none of these appeal to me.
I have a best buddy who lives here and has a kid who went to UL….but he is an lsu grad. They are good people though, and even have season tix to UL basketball. Anyway, he thinks it’s funny about what the ‘rules’ are for when he buys any UL gear, and I always have to remind him of the big 3: no hot wheels logo, nothing with yellow in it, and nothing with Lafayette on it. Of course, they have similar ‘rules’ for lsu gear, as do most other school fans.
Sodexo’s trash food, Ticketmaster’s crazy fees…I wonder what B&N has up their sleeve for Cajuns fans.
my daughter is at USM and Barnes Noble is the book store and you can't really tell the difference and she can do her books online or rental from the web site
Ok, the more I dig in this to try to understand it, the more confused I’m getting. Maybe someone who’s smarter than me, or knows the facts can clear this up to me.
Seems to me that there are 2 different companies called Barnes and Noble who run college bookstores.
First, the B & N stores that we all know, and like the one near the mall, but also another one called B & N College, listed as BNED on the stock exchange. Or are they the same thing? B & N stores also sell college books, and will run bookstores. Which is very confusing to me.
The link that cypremort posted on the first page here is all about BNED, and I assume that is who we are going with???? Like I said, maybe someone smarter than me can explain it to us.
Here is the link to BNED

And here is the link to the B & N stores that we are all more familiar with, and explains how they handle college bookstores

I was about to comment that the posts have been surprisingly positive in this thread, until the rebel arrives.
I am stealing from a casual fan here, but I was impressed with everything I saw here: https://www.fanatics.com/
Give it a chance.
Yeah, just looking at the website, the selection seems to be considerate of "Louisiana" logos.
Remember, Red Zone also had some "UL Lafayette" merchandise (my understanding the instance of a "UL" has to be accompanied by "Lafayette").
On a side note, if you can make it to the bookstore at the Union, decent sale of the leftover merchandise is going on right now.
Pretty sure there will be retail space in the newly renovated Cajun Field. Could that be the future permanent home for the RZ?
