  2. UL Football Re: NSD 2022 National Signing Day

Boomer loves NOLA small private schools.

I’m going to just say this Boomer, I wish him neither failure, nor success. If at some point he decides he wants UL I’ll welcome him if Louisiana coaches do take him back. At this point he’s a non entity to me and virtually every Louisiana fan.

I remember a 3-star linebacker (forgot his name) from Baton Rouge had committed to the Cajuns and did the same thing by taking a PWO to LaSt on signing day. This was in the early 2000s. He would have received so much attention if he signed with us as highly rated players were few and far between. He was buried on the depth chart over there and played very little in their meaningless games. I wonder how he feels about that decision now. He ended up being a glorified practice dummy.

Probably because he took a preferred walk-on with them, but signed in a ceremony. He visited here again for a Spring Game when he left LSU before choosing to enroll at Indiana. His dad was a turd.

Okay, That's what it was! LSU offered him a preferred walk-on and he signed with Illinois. When he wanted to transfer back he visited here for the spring game. His dad didn't want him to play at UL.

Didn't he have a girlfriend or something at UL but his dad didn't want him to come here so he keep bouncing around. Seems toxic. Hope the dudes ok but glad we only witnessed it from a distance.
