Good program in the stadium club. Beer was cold and jambalaya was great.

Some of express concerned that there were no highlight videos of our signees during the program.

Of course Boomer found his way there.

Although, we are ranked 6th in the SBC ranking standings, merely due to having less recruits total, we have the #1 composite Average of 84.44 in the SBC for ranking of the 12 commitments we have. That is good for 4th overall in the G5 as an average score behind only Cincy, Houston, UCF.

That's because only 8 recruits are ranked.

But, but, the sky is falling. We have a head coach with no national contacts. How will we ever recruit all those four and five stars from Michigan and Connecticut that we usually get?

Arkansas State really needed to load up this year at all positions as they have been really terrible. Good to see them signing so many 3 stars. Arkansas State being terrible is not a good thing overall for the SBC.

Absolutely! Those that are scared of the competition don't really want us to succeed on a national level. We are continuing to make ourselves better and the conference is doing the same.

    GEAUX CAJUNS!

    Agree.

I want THEM for Rivalry Week! Our fanbase and theirs could make it really fun and heated.

If stAte and Southern Miss. can get back to business it’s gonna make for a salty SBC West. Both those teams are natural rivals. Don’t sleep on Troy either.

I’m feeling very confident Louisiana is in really good hands with Dez!

Since very little is known yet, about how well the new staff will be, there can be arguments on both sides, positive and negative.
The December signings were all recruited by the previous staff. The good thing is we still signed most of them. Yesterday, specifically, is a bit of concern however. I'm glad for the guys we were able to sign, I'm not going to knock them, they could be diamonds in the rough. But overall, we didn't sign any established, high caliber players. There would have been a few, if we didn't have the chaos of Nov/Dec. Now, what does that mean for the future, maybe nothing. We will just have to wait and see.
