After playing its last two matches on the road, Louisiana Women's Basketball will begin a three-match homestand on Saturday afternoon when it welcomes ULM to the CAJUNDOME. Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m.

With in-state bragging rights on the line, the Ragin' Cajuns enter the contest on a 14-game winning streak against the Warhawks and a 6-1 record against in-state opposition this year. Under head coach Garry Brodhead, the team owns a 53-14 record against teams from Louisiana.

The Ragin' Cajuns (11-4, 3-2 Sun Belt) are looking to return to their winning ways after falling to App State in Boone, 55-46. Despite the outcome, Ty'Reona Doucet continued to be a bright spot for the Cajuns with her third consecutive double-double.

Doucet currently leads the team in scoring (11.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.6 rpg), while helping the team boast a 44.8 field goal percentage, a mark that ranks first in the Sun Belt Conference and 34th nationally.

Makayia Hallmon (11.1 ppg) and Lanay Wheaton (10.1 ppg) have also continued to be scoring threats for the squad.

ULM (4-16, 0-6 Sun Belt) is looking for its first league win of the season and is coming off a heartbreaking 67-61 defeat at App State. Bre Sutton led four Warhawks in double figures in the loss with 17 points.

Kyren Whittington has been the ULM's most consistent player, averaging 13.1 points per contest in 17 appearances.

Saturday's meeting will be the 65th contest between the two programs, with the Warhawks owning a 43-21 advantage in the all-time series. Louisiana is 15-4 against ULM under Brodhead.

The game will also feature a special halftime performance by the world-renowned and fan-favorite Red Panda. Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats at the break for the event.
