You'll find out Feb.2...until then, take a breather...there's very little information coming out now about who's signing. I understand this weekend, as always, is a huge school visit weekend.

From what has been said on this site, we only have 7-9 scholarships.

And this includes both leftovers from the early signing day AND those transferring out.

Gonna ask somebody a lot smarter than me: Did CBN overextend us on scholarships?

We will only have 15 (early signing day plus what we'll sign in February) but it seems many others are signing regular numbers.

I've heard this is the year scholarships need to get back down to 85, but it just seems this is affecting us.

We're not "overextended" on scholarships. Simple math of getting back down to 85. It's affecting every school in different ways. Some schools that sucked are dropping players from scholarships to add incoming JUCOs and transfers, looking at you Southern Miss.

I could be wrong, but the last few recruiting cycles UL did sign guys that were credited to the next years class in some sort of way...gray or blue shirt...just something I remember T going over...

Correct, did that when we didn't have our full number of scholarships to give. It just looks more exaggerated this year with going back to 85.
