You're hired
You may or may not remember my comments a few months ago where we had lost roughly eleven athletic staff members and did not replace them. This stemmed from not making cutbacks during COVID when many universities laid off members or put them on furlough.
Well, things are getting better now.
They've hired a video person, for starters. And, they are going to hire two more. None of them will be just like Doug Domingue as everyone has their own ideas about video. And, this insures none of them will be as overworked as DD was. In addition, they are going to hire a couple of graphic designers. They already have one of the best in the country in Heather Williams. And, they'll hire another video person as so many of our sports are featured on ESPN-plus.
They will also hire another media relations person. Josh Brunner now has Patrick Crawford's title of assistant athletic director. Josh will essentially be replacing himself with the new position.
