Leave the damn kids alone. The hill is great. One of my favorite pictures of my son and I was taken on that hill.

Great picture, but take it in the stands. Sorry, but not a Division 1 football look. JMO.

    I respectfully disagree

The first example that comes to mind is the school that Dr. Maggard came from

Their stadium layout is very similar to Cajun Field with the lower bowl being (mostly) below the surrounding grade and having 1 end zone being a grass hill.

    That will never happen.

But that overflow crowd sitting on the hill. Not kids sliding down cardboard in an empty stadium.

That's an event management issue- not a construction issue

The original purpose of this thread is Cajun Field "construction" . I'm pretty sure this whole hill discussion is for naught anyway as designs have more than likely been finalized by now

Clemson and Wake Forest are 2 other "D1" schools with hills among others

If the same picture were taken in the stands, it would look equally empty and abandoned. Probably a worse look.

Almost a one of a kind look.

Exceptions aside "Better" than average run of the mill D1 generic.

The Clemson football team and coaches literally run down a grass hill through their fans to get on their field. Leave the hill alone. Just make the horse shoe symmetrical.

Whatever makes Louisiana football games more attractive to families, I wholeheartedly support.

Now, it the admin can look away while 8 year olds come barreling down a hill towards an iron fence, they certainly should be looking away while the Greeks do their thing.

    Bells and Cannons.

Cajun Field will never be complete until both are back in use.
