Yes. I paid 20 bucks last night. I had to leave to bring a daughter and some friends somewhere and even though I had a ticket they said it would be 20 bucks again. When I returned I parked across the street at the CGI building for free and made the easy walk across the street and across the Cajun Field parking lot to see Wayne Toups. I wish I would have done that the first time and saved my 20 bucks. That would have been 2-3/4 more of the over priced beers.

Anyone who complains about that parking situation as a reason to not go to Cajuns football games is just looking for reasons not to go.

Wow $20 for Mardi Gras Parking. I bet no one shows up. Lafayette people dont like to pay to park.

Don't know. There were plenty spots available and most of the parking is used for the rides and music and they had maybe 10 cars at most in the CGI lot. The big grass lot was a no parking area. There was definitely not 7k that paid to park.

I didn't realize architects went straight to subcontractors.

Not over my head at all I know exactly where he was going. But to answer the question. Last night and today was the smallest crowds I have ever seen at CF for Mardi Gras. Although admission is free they now have 4 to 5 designated entrance points where everyones bag is checked and is waned with the metal detector. At times the lines looked like Cajun field when they had some of the larger crowds and the entrances would get way backed up. In the long run the carnival goers persevered and no complaints were heard from those that were there. I am sure those who didn't go, who usually do, will have many complaints and reasons why they didn’t go. FYI. KK only goes because his two teenaged daughters likes the music of Wayne Toups and Travis Matte and company. I look forward more to tomorrow night and the weeks to come in that area.

I was once a material supplier of a sub contractor on a complete remodel of the parish jail downtown and I met with the architects along with the sub to show them the products they were bidding to put into the jail. So not that uncommon.
