I miss the hedges at Cajun Field.
Yup. I remember having great seats in Blackham, the move to the dome went from between the time line and mid court to the last seats court side against the rail. Thanks to the novelty of the sudden big donors coming and going, we were back at the time line in a few years.
Hope this is handled better than that. Ran over existing donors to accommodate quick money.
Why not put chairback seats between the 40 yard lines on the student side? Students can sit from the 40 yd line to the SEZ as needed. Better seats for ticket holders, more revenue for the athletic department and more people seated on that side of the stadium. Students still have good seats, in fact much better than most do in P5 stadiums. That will help fill out the stadium and help eliminate the fans vs students in the current configuration .
We need a back to all the seating at Cajun Field. Wonder how much that would cost. Maybe just add it on the 50 on the student side?
In addition to installed seat backs between (say) the two 40's, why not do what many big programs do?
If you are a season ticket holder, you can PAY to have a seat back installed.
Does anyone know how that works?
I think they actually do that LSU stadium (from what it looks like empty you can see several seat backs in random spots...
JB Mouton. They have been on board for a while now. They were not just selected as another poster stated.
Architects SW hasn't existed for a few years now. They merged with Abell Crozier right before Covid hit and everyone moved into AC's office. They are now ACSW Architects. Abell Crozier did the baseball stadium and Architects SW did the SEZ and APC, so both firms have done some of the biggest projects in the athletics complex over the last decade.
