Does anyone know if the renovation includes tearing out and replacing all of the aluminum bleachers/chair back seating?

I sure hope so because red/white/black seating would make the stadium look more crowded. I hate seeing those empty bright aluminum benches on the visitors side. Such an eyesore on TV too.

I did not…but it would be sweet to add my request to the budget. Hell, just paint the concrete red/white/black. It will drastically change the appearance on TV.

…..Again, since the stadium was originally built with state race track money…..why not, if the stadium is about to crash with it’s structure failing, get state money….and why not some local funds like what was done with the airport say for 6 months…….TRY IT!

Pretty sure the original plans are being cut/ reduced to save money due to inflated construction costs

Yea man the upper deck looks like the structure is actually failing. The rebar is visible in multiple areas. I’m not an engineer but it’s time the upper deck comes down or gets repaired/reinforced. End of 2023 can’t get here soon enough.

They haven’t condemned the McNeese Bridge, they won’t condemn this either . . .
