Yea man the upper deck looks like the structure is actually failing. The rebar is visible in multiple areas. I’m not an engineer but it’s time the upper deck comes down or gets repaired/reinforced. End of 2023 can’t get here soon enough.

There are schools in St Landry parish that we work on where buildings are condemned. The state hasn't forced those schools to close and those buildings are still in use.

Pretty sure the original plans are being cut/ reduced to save money due to inflated construction costs

I know the stadium is owned by the university and or state...correct? Is it possible to set up a temporary sales tax for 12 months like we did with the airport and all monies generated go to the funding of renovations? I know the voters would have to approve this to be put on the ballot, but it could generate 20-30 million. Even if you're not a sports fan having a successful academic and athletic program benefits all of Lafayette.
