If UL wants respect from pollsters they are going to have to play and beat Big 12 and SEC teams. It might be time for Dr. M to rethink his scheduling policy to get rid of the FCS game (that nobody give a ____ enough to attend, anyway) and tack on another road P5. You can't play the schedule like we had this year and expect to be ranked in the top 10 losing to a ____ Texas team.

What good would it do to become the 13th place team in the big 12? Seriously, not that anyone is looking at UL & going, oh snap there is a school that deserves to be in a big boy conference. This university doesn't have the balls to stand up for themselves even against the traitors from next door infiltrating the administration. Those weak teams were already baked into the pole going into the NOLA Bowl. In Wakes case they beat a team weaker than MU, yet get rewarded with a five spot jump.

You can’t have it both ways.
Rewarding losses to good teams and additional rewards for beating a bad team. Yeah they did that and others rewarded for losing as well. Guess the overall point is P5 getting benefits win or lose see
