If it were up to me Louisiana would be playing SIX P5 games a year.

I just can't believe they didn't bump us up to #10/11. Shocked, just shocked.

Man, they had to take care of the ACC…3 in front of us, got jumped by 2. Saving face.

Notice four of the 5 P5 conferences had 3 each in the top 15. PAC 12 only had Utah, with Cincinnati and ND taking their other spots. 5 time 3, 15 sounds really fishy.

We met our ceiling as prescribed by the cabal.

The 2021-2022 college football season will be one to remember forever for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. The Cajuns ended up being division champions, Sun Belt champions, and winners of the New Orleans Bowl. They now have another accolade to add to their resume.

And until something like that happens the number of wins won't matter. The strength of schedule otherwise just isn't there. This year a 19 point loss to a 5-7 Texas team didn't help. Throw in struggle wins against Nichols and ULM that weren't a positive either.

I took a peek at many of the various “2022 Way-Too-Early Pre-Season Rankings”—all showing UL definitely not Top 25, with the explanation of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named leaving and losing important players.

Not one single voter looked at the point totals in the loss to Texas, 14 games ago.

What they did do, and did say to themselves (since it has been so public) is that this team is a shell of what it was.

Louisiana was penalized. for something that happened in ITs offseason while the season felt like it was still going on.

that or beating the 4th place CUSA team did nothing for us
