The biggest obstacle to expanded playoffs using conference champs, even just P5 conference champ auto bids, is the SEC.

Oh, they’ll expand the playoffs, but a 3 or 4 loss PAC-10 champ ain’t getting in. You see, they don’t DESERVE it.

I don't understand. The SEC commissioner has come out against automatic qualifiers. It's the BIG commissioner who is insisting that all of the P5 conference champs get in automatically.
