Sure. You would have lost many more players with a coach they don’t already know, love and trust. It is to easy to leave not to. They all have relationships with people that recruiting them out of high school.

Bergeron was already in FL.

School has started already. I suspect most coaches listed on our website are here to stay. The DL coach, the OL coach, the special teams coordinator, CB coach and ILB coach were on the staff last year and still on our staff at this time.

Take those 2 out you still have 10 from last years staff and you keep the very valuable Matt Viator as an off field analyst. Mikes first staff is a homerun in my book.

That is an incredibly high number with a coaching departure. and a testament to Desormeaux's presence.

Just about every coach from a 13-1 team could name his lateral job anywhere in the country if he so desired.
