Yeah really not sure what dou was thinking when he got the rebound and just shot it backwards. Could have easily ran more time off the clock and gotten free throws

Or dunked it. Nobody was really defending the shot. Could have gone up strong.

Justin Miller 2.0. When he dribbles, it’s an adventure.

You rarely win a game when an opponent scores 29 points missed 3 shots , 17 rebounds, and 7if 8 free throws.

One thing that was nice to see looking at the box score is Dou played 31 minutes with 0 3pt attempts. With Richards out hopefully he will be concentrated down low as the primary back up forward.

Will Jordan Brown be available for Saturday's game against LR?

According to the broadcast last night, yes. According to Foote this morning, "it's possible."

    Take your pick.

He didn’t take one attempt, but Richards did. At least he had the awareness to recognize it was not an attempt he should have made and was apologizing to our players at the free throw line on other end of court.

I yelled out a huge "NOOOOOOOOOO" when Isiah let it go. I thought Million Dollar Mullet was going to fall out of his chair laughing.

It was an unnecessary shot, but in Dou's defense, there was goal tending on that play, and the zebras missed it as usual. The refs were bad as expected.

Overall, this has been a very encouraging start to conference play. It does appear that things are coming together with team chemistry and understanding their place on the team. We do have a lot of depth, something we really haven't had in a while. Hopefully, they continue to improve and make some real noise.

No. But you'll win a lot of games when you hold the three guards to 6-36 from the field.

Probably only need to do that once . . . And we did . . .

I wasn’t being critical. The unsaid was we had to do a lot of other things really well when one guy has a night like that.

I actually thought the refs did an Ok job. They let them play a lot but it seemed to go both ways. They did miss the over the back foul on the big guy that should have fouled him out in second half and the goaltending call but all in all it seemed like it was called ok.
