Don't disagree with your opinion, but there is more than one way to address it, JC is another area. And from what I see of the names listed in the Transfer Portal as offensive lineman, there isn't a great amount of talent available.

I would think a good OL would be a rarity on the portal. Look at the interest Torrance is generating. If a good OL does enter the portal, the money flush P-5s will be all over him.

Yeah man, Im really excited to see the direction of this regime. Offensively and defensively. On another note, I hope Almandares returns to form and can stay healthy!

Agreed, OL and to a lesser extent DL are at a premium in the portal. I think JUCO route is the most likely right now. Those two position groups are worrisome, from a depth perspective.

just noticed that Andrew Brister, son of former NFL player Bubby Brister is transferring to La. Tech. He played (if you want to call it that as he only had 1 pass attempt and was the 4th string QB) for University of Northern Colorado. This is a long way to travel just to come back home. He graduated from Neville signed with UNC (Northern Colorado, not North Carolina) and is now coming back 33 miles to La Tech to try to play.

What would be the position that needs to be addressed most by the portal. I’d guess experience OL. It appears we have tons of young ones coming up but not much experience.
    And then maybe LB?
    OL and LB

    Time Machines.

Desormeaux needs to do an all out blitz on acquiring more Time Machines. Look for under appreciated HS linemen. Overweight, to small, look for players he can convert, this area is crucial. And of course don't forget the portal.

ps time machines implies passing game. Get some hole diggers too.

OL experience and DL is a must you win the battle at the line of scrimmage you win the game more times then not

That’s why we need to throw some serious NIL money at those positions!
