Can’t blame the people who aren’t fans. But if you enjoy football and go to some UL games you should get to more in order to enhance your enjoyment of the games. Fans provide most of game day atmosphere. Pointless to complain about atmosphere if you miss most games. Just saying.
I moseyed over to the Sunbelt board after reading this but I didn’t get the sense they were giddy at our situation. I mean there are always a couple of beach chicken fans making comments but that’s just par for the course.
I got the sense from the west teams they might have a chance, but other than that most posts seemed to make the point that it sucks for us and a form of sympathy for us.
Maybe I just read it differently, I didn’t see much pointing and laughing.
This is happening everywhere and to every university that has some big-time players.

Maybe these players didn't have P5 options when they signed with us. Or maybe they did, and were told they'd have to prove themselves. Whereas now they have a D1 resume and are better positioned to play?
Opportunities change for athletes, just like everyday workers who bust azz and get recognized for their efforts.
The bust up between UL and Napier seems to be more than the transfer portal. It seems an Maggard and CMD think Napier crossed a line and they are angry about it. Will we ever get the whole story, who knows? With the media in this town, very unlikely.
Torrance for instance was offered by UGA. Kids have to prove themselves at every level once the sign. Again I stand by the statement, if running out in front of 70k is what a kid is motivated by, as you stated his reason for leaving might be, he should have never signed here. Why do yourself an injustice. Shot for what your dreams are.
