Committed to the coaches not the school. Billy already put the work in so he’s obviously quite happy with the easy pickings.

Put the work in while being paid by our program. And he's a _____ too.

He didn’t work alone or recruit everyone by himself

I wish there was another scenario but you are exactly right.

Kids play for coaches and coaches play for schools.

Cajuns are loyal people. It is part of our cULture. All of this stings alot for us because we are such loyal people. CFB doesn't have much so called loyalty anymore. A man's word doesn't mean much anymore unless it is in a contract in CFB.

Is O’Hara still an analyst? I didn’t realize analyst could go on in home visits? I thought they were more of watch film and partaking in discussions in coaches meetings type position. Always thought they were not able to be in direct contact with players?

    A recruit could think otherwise.

Imagine your offered a scholarship by Billy at UL. He then shows up at your house and says: “I believed in you at UL and I still believe in your talent now. You’re good enough to play in the SEC. I need you.”

    Is that not loyalty?

Edit: sorry, misread and thought you were implying Napier isn’t loyal.

Jeez, is this a reflection on Mullen or the Florida AD Stricklin and the Florida athletic program as a whole?

Were the people previously in these positions incompetent, or did the positions actually exist?

If in fact this is a reflection on Stricklin (I have read on UL-Gainesville message boards of displeasure with Stricklin's neglect of soft infrastructure), I only half-jokingly say I fear for the loss of Maggard.

Can’t remember exact total but Florida’s staff was going to grow considerably. Part of the plan was too have an entire personnel department and have it run like an nfl franchise.

“But just to kind of make sure we’re all the same page here: We’re gonna take a small group of people with us to work through signing day."

Napier, who coached UL to 12 straight wins after a season-opening loss to Texas, said there’s “basically a little bit of a gentleman’s agreement here that it’s important to our (Cajuns) team, and our players, and our administration to get through signing day … (and) the bowl game.”

“So we’re going to take a very small group. The rest of the staff will coach (UL) the rest of the way. And then, after signing day’s over, we’ll start working on, really, assembling the rest of the organization. That’s the approach we’ll take.”

....so basically, we'll keep you intact until after the bowl game. Then, it's a free for all. Good luck, UL.
