Waites is 6'8 350 plus and very agile and flexible. The little bit he played this season, I was very impressed by how he moved in his pass set. Most people that size are waist benders- he is not... Napier definitely knew what he was doing poaching him ... Sucks

He is extremely raw, his physical attributes are what exited them. But he has played very little football and I don't see him playing in the SEC for a few years or perhaps another year of working on his technique. SEC OLB's and DE's will abuse the kid right now.

As for who was in his ear, this one goes to Rob Sale who is still under contract in the NFL and can speak with any UL athlete he wants to legally. He will not officially hired with Florida until next week.

Oh, and you can probably add O'Cyrus to his discussion as well because he was his coach. I hear his NIL deal with Florida will probably be worth upwards of $250K.

That is nuts! I’m hoping this will simmer down after this particular off-season with the coaching changes…but I’m not holding my breath.

Regarding Waites- yep, but you can't coach those attributes.there arent many humans with that size/ athletic combo. He was more of a basketball player from what I understand

Kids can commit at any time. Coaches just can’t recruit during dead periods.
