I’ll never understand how people can’t differentiate the way people post during games and not during games.
In game threads are highly charged, emotional, and probably alcohol aided.. Reacting in the moment to something and reacting on a regular day with nothing going on will ALWAYS bring about a different result.
I’ve definitely said things in years past during game threads that I both regretted and didn’t actually mean, after all. We’ve all done it.
Nobody really wants to look because they will know what they will find. I just took a random game and looked at the posts for the first 15 minutes of the game. There were 34 anti Levi posts in that 15 time minute spread. Then I went to the end of the thread after the game and it was no better. So, it’s not only a few and it was abhorrent to read this again.
He is finished with accolades for anyone who wants to see it. Can we at least let the guy leave here with the due he deserves . . .
I love the depth and varied skill sets of our QB group.
Levi gave Billy exactly what he wanted from his QB. If we had more lopsided wins, we would have seen Fields and possibly Woodridge play some, but that didn't happen. Also, I think there was some motivation to break records involved in some way. TO's are killers, so your remember the pick 6 and the fumbles in the CCG at App? Without those we possibly win that game. Levi learned that lesson well.
For those wanting more mop up duty for Fields I suggest that’s not really anything. Conversely on the one or two occasions that Levi had to leave for a play there was no shrinking of the playbook. He often passed for positive yards. Those yards mattered. It was never going to be the Nunez- Lewis trade off like Billy’s first season.
Go look at it yourself, you are the one that is obsessed. And 35 post in 15 minutes is a substantial amount of posts. A couple were repeat offenders but most of it were different posters. Quit trying to give redemption to these _______ fans. They are just not worth it . . .
