If that is accurate no wonder they struggle. No one who values themselves will take that big of a job without making good money doing it.
In addition to that, a staff of 5 full time employees is a joke to Supervise 200 to 300 hourly employees for operations and to maintain any standard of service. I can tell you the service industry was already a revolving door before COVID-19, now it's a nightmare to find quality employees that will actually show up to work. Their model is antiquated and a logistic shat storm waiting to happen on game day.

Got me thinking...those dudes would print money at Cajun Field during a game if you ask me. Give me a big ole filet or two of fried catfish, side of either pork jambalaya or potato salad and a slice of Evangeline Maid to sit and watch a Cajuns game with? Yes sir! Wash it down with a cold beer.

I have thought about something similar. Everybody raves about the cajun food in Lafayette. I wish we could have individual restaurant stops throughout the stadium instead of Sodexo. Each place would get free rent and would supply everything they need, a portion of their sales would go to UL.

To me that is a win - win. We get much better concessions, great pub for the restaurants. This would include bars as well for the adutl beverages.

Just a thought. It came about after listening to the guy on one of the pods here for the Alden report. Two things he mentioned regarding Cajun Field stood out.

    1. Leave the hill for the kids; it is a great babysitter, allowing families to attend games.

    2. There should be a Ragin Cajun bar, we have the beer, just need a place to sell it.
