Wwwwwwwhhhhooooaaaaaaa……”has done nothing to prove doubts wrong”...let’s take a look…..rearranged the left over staff to win a Bowl game….FINAL EXAMS AND GRADUATION…..lost our best possible position players in OL, DL, WR, and RB but mentioned before the game the good players we had to fill in……came up with a winning play called game….saved just about all the early signees and 2 were the highest ranked in programs history, giving MD’s being the HC as their reason for keeping commitment……taking phone calls and texts from many wanting to be on staff with pool money being in place and new Cajun image…..the holidays and extra time needed to keep program’s normal function together…..think it is time to erase some doubts!
The bowl victory isn’t proof of anything except CMD isn’t an obvious mistake. He absolutely could have given the impression that he’s not ready yet. That didn’t happen.
Game day demeanor by Napier was as good as it gets. We see many less successful coaches going nuts on the sidelines when bad things happen. Des displayed similar coolness with the reversal of the punt touchdown play. He’s focused in adversity. Reminds me of Saban, Napier, Sean Payton.
