Hypothetical speaking let’s say the knew coaching staff has in some form or fashion Tony Hull, Derek Keys, Lamar Morgan, Tim Leger, Matt Viator, Kevin Faulk and George Munoz, all guys with local ties and all who have been mentioned on other threads. Would you all be OK with that staff? Or is that to much in breeding for lack of a better term?

We should be ok with the staff he hires until such time as it proves not to work and there are no adjustments. We hired a guy to do a job. Can we let him do that job? And like someone suggested earlier, if you feel you are better at doing this job, make a suggestion here of who you would consider and I feel quite certain it will make it to Coach’s desk. There is nothing to question right now that has not already been questioned, questioned again and then again . . . Do you want to question it again, go on ahead and do it. . . What I don’t understand is why it is okay to question, demean, dismiss and loudly point out perceived issues about our University, Athletes and Coaches but it’s not ok to respond with the other side? Please help me? Are message boards only supposed to be for the complainers? Are the complainers to be shielded from the rest of the board who have an opinion that the complaint is unfounded, unreasonable or just someone here trying to earn their cheese.

CMD winning the bowl was a step in the right direction to calming peoples doubts. What will speak louder than anything to me is what staff he can assemble. That will show the confidence that football intellects have in him. If he can assemble a great staff then he will be on track to continue a winning tradition. If he gets all local hires then he will be thinking small minded not national ball! This will be my “oh no” trigger!

My only concerns focused on whether MDs lack of coaching locations would negatively impact his pool of potential assistants. It was more a question than statement.
And since this is a message and chat room style board , my musings are intended only to trigger friendly discussion, confirmation, information ,respectful debate, or other conversation with LIKE MINDED Cajun fans.
