    We won’t lose millions.
    The payout is $5.3mm.
Players will happily add a game to their careers.
If we had enough coaches for NOLA, we have enough for this.
The game isn’t for over a week.

No excuse not to pursue this opportunity. It would be the biggest opportunity for publicity in the history of this program.

Make excuses or make history. Period. Looking at you, Bryan Maggard.
Great post. Looking forward to not remembering another 2 am twitter feed on NY eve/day? lol

How great would that be? Also, if the game is not played, the Aggies should have to pay Wake Forest the 5 mill they would lose from A&M Covid chickening out.

Y’all need to be emailing and calling athletics like I have been for the last 30 min. Show them that we want this…

It’s all for show. None of them will play a second bowl game. It will be one of the 5-7 teams.

You need to learn when to slow down. Playing a second bowl game in a week is a bad idea.

Logistics and the fact that players are home for the holidays. They haven’t been training since the bowl and even those practices weren’t more than walk throughs. Need to quit thinking like a fan who wants a moment of glory to brag about and think about the actual players & coaches.

Playing 2 games in 2.5 weeks is something we do for 4 months straight.

“Moment of glory to brag about”???

What?? We’re taking about an unprecedented opportunity to further the brand. GUARANTEE those players would want to play in that game. It’s not an injury risk. It’s not a logistical impossibility. Difficult? Sure. But not impossible. Not even close.

Yes, during the season while the players are training daily. Not after they’ve already been home.

Yes, it’s a huge injury risk to jump back in after being on the couch for a week.
