I wold think 8:15 is prime time with more viewers than the afternoon games. Isn't that why they call it prime time?

9:15 in the east. Game lasted till 1am EST. Number may have been higher had it not been JIP on the mothership espn due to previous bowl game overrun. That probably allowed for some channel surfing at the beginning of the game. App v WK drew 1.6 million plus in the afternoon start.

There are more viewing choices in prime time and the available audiance pool of viewers is larger. Since I have no way to figure share of audiance viewing, its tough to say what others were watching. All in all, that number for a secondary bowl is pretty sweet.
