As important? We’re not likely to play them while he’s playing there. In fact I doubt he plays past season three. Good enough to get drafted almost always going early.

we don't know what the schedules are going to look like as we will be playing some SBC East teams, so their is a chance albeit small. More importantly I think Marshall is going to challenge App, Covid Carolina, Georgia State and JMU for SBC titles when they are all in the conference.

Man the East is going to be good.

A better opponent in terms of ranking champion, or a well known P5.

As long as there’s cold and rain in December the game belongs in the super dome.

Yes he is sporting that long hair. He probably goes to a beauty parlor.

Scheduled or not. With Marshall's signing class this year, they could win the east and end up playing in the SBC championship so dont count on the Cajuns not having to play Marshall with Ali back there. We handled him in the 2nd half of the game tough.

What going see a 12-1 Cajun team not good enough? Who would of been good enough? There would have been a bunch of other excuses not to go. I heard plenty enough excuses not to go. For years, people said that winning would cure attendance. If a 12-1team isn’t enough motivation to go to New Orleans to watch our Cajuns then nothing is.

A rematch of the game from 10 years ago would have had attendance through the roof.

Obviously we will have to replace FG next year but with the exception of how well they were able to run the ball early in the game, our defense did a great job. Grant Wells is a good QB and our DB's made him look bad.
If Grant Wells is good, our defense and DBs must have been very good. I thought he made many poor throws and is very mediocre if not worse.

He definitely looks like he has regressed since his freshman year. Anyway, I think our defense does what it always does. Wreak havoc on the QB all game and make the proper second half adjustments to finish them off.
Offensively it was pretty good although could have been great. Left a lot of points on the field and I think had we cashed in with touchdowns instead of 3 fgs, we probably win going away. I know that’s probably starting the obvious but with all that’s going on in the program I was definitely pleased and excited about the future.
I love that Marshall is coming into the conference and I really hope we play them next year. Hopefully Mr. Gill saw the chippiness and decides to pair us up again.
