I’m getting a little tired of the storyline the game was closer than the score. If anything the score was closer than the game. Vitals Cajuns held the lead longer than the Herd. Herd had multiple turnovers, Louisiana held TOP by almost 3/1 in first half and slightly more in the second half. The Herd greatest point advantage was short lived 5 points. Cajuns had way more chunk plays and yards. In the end it really could have been 43/21 if we pushed it.

I was thinking more like 25ish, but the NO Bowl really dropped the ball, I never heard a radio ad or saw a tv ad all week in the New Orleans market usually they bring in a few thousand locals just off of the local ads

You must not watch much television. I saw the bowl advertised multiple tv channels , especially the last week. I don’t get the newspaper but I doubt much advertising there. Also failure to get on WWL radio, or any local sports news hour that I saw or heard.

It was brilliant for a competitor like Levi to leverage academics in order to get on the field right away.
I never saw it that way, but could be wrong, just don't see it from a true freshman.

Was shocked how dead New Orleans is . I have not been since 2017 and the Quater and Magazine looked like Tuesday afternoon in June. For a Saturday evening around Christmas it was sad.

Congratulations to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun's football team for a most memorable year!

…and we start the season with 3 winnable games. Southeastern, EMU and @Rice.
