No Gardner and Mitchell leaves gaping holes on our offense and defense.
The odds of them getting hurt in this game are minuscule. Assuming they are healthy enough, One day they will probably Wish they had played and finished out the season with their teammates.

Does it suck? Yes but this allows some of our younger players to get more reps this week and will allow them to get more gametime which will help for next year

If max played and had got hurt and killed his draft status it would not only hurt his career but the program as a whole going forward. The reason we have legit linemen is because they’re beginning to get drafted. Having another 1-3 round lineman drafted helps more with recruiting than than possibly anything else.

Losing Ferrod G. would be worse if Marshall had a true dual threat QB...but they don't.
