Kill me, but I'm looking at the bowl game as the first game of 2022.

I'm just messing with you, every Tuesday the wife and I do Charcuterie Tuesday which usually includes some type of brie, now I will tell you we have had some Nu Nu's Steen Sausage on that board from time to time.

I’m starting to see this as an glorified scrimmage. Think pro bowl but not in Hawaii.

Which is totally fine and a great opportunity for next years team. Chandler should play every 3rd series. Admission should
    Also be free.

Losing Ferrod G. would be worse if Marshall had a true dual threat QB.but they don't.

And a guy like Humphrey has very few chances to play against an all conference player from another team for a whole game to prove himself. Its the quality of the player against the quality of their opponent. It's the reason they have all star games & all star weeks. If the guy was 1st, or 2nrd pick then he's doing himself no favors by playing in that game. But he's not. And anyone giving him advice not to take this opportunity is giving him terrible advice. I'm telling I know.
So he is playing in the east west bowl is it more important for him to be 100% for that ? By your own logic it would be than playing hurt in a NOLA bowl

I mean, come on guys. The players sitting out hurts, but they are doing what’s best for them. I can 100% promise you if this were the CFP or the NY6 bowl they would be playing.

It’s the Nola Bowl, while not meaningless it’s not of the same importance for the players or the program.

For the programs sake, it is way more important to have all of those guys healthy and in peak form for the showcase games, pro day and NFL Combine. The more players that get drafted out of this program the better it is for the program.

If you view it in any other way you are just flat out wrong.

They're both important. But it's like taking an entrance test that you can't possibly finish in the time allotted. But you are trying to get into a school club, get a job, or whatever. And what is the known unwritten rule? You get as many answers in as possible because while you don't get points against you for your wrong answers, you lose points by not giving enough right answers. I am telling you it is different for a guy who is a high round draft pick & a guy who is fighting for a later round pick, or a free agent. I can't explain it any plainer except to say Mr. Humphrey does himself & his chances of making it in the NFL no favors at all by not playing in this game unless he is truly hurt. And from what I've gathered, he's not hurt. And I'm not picking on him. I am simply stating facts.

No, you're wrong. And that's what costs a lot of young men a chance at the next level. I can tell you again the last thing an NFL organization wants to see is a potential low round draft pick, or a free agent come in with the attitude that they aren't willing to put it all on the line for a job. That has always been, is now & will always be the mentality of professional sports. And the number one reason young guys wash out in the NFL is because they think they are too "valuable" to play in a game which proves their loyalty to the team as well as showcasing their talent. There's a huge gulf of difference between projected high round picks & lower round & free agent picks. Anyone who says any different doesn't know jack crap about the NFL & how those guys think.
