Did one of the announcers call for retaliation on the part of Marshall?
He was a gunner coming the the left sideline and when the Marshall player waived his hand for the fair coach he was focused on the nearest guy trying to block him.

The announcers did say they wouldn't be surprised if Marshall players will try to retaliate and the officials need to get control of the game quickly. Of course they showed the sideline reaction of their players and coaching staff.

What Jackass said that? Whoever it is should be banned from commenting on football for at least a year . . .

It’s obvious to me that the coaching staff took all the QB suggestions on RP to heart. When Levi threw the “50/50” ball that some college coaches may call a deep post I turned to my brother and said “that’s a great call by RP game thread”.
I personally have been critical of Snyder and I feel like I am partially responsible for his success last night.

Also props go to Jones and Manac on the DL. Provided consistent pressure in the 4thQ.

As for Levi, what people here have said in is defense is spot on. I hope he knows that most Cajun fans appreciate his play and all he did for Cajun football. I have always thought the QB pecking order was Mitchell, Delhomme and everyone else. Levi is definitely joined those two as all time great Cajun QBs. Whoever wins the QB job next year has big shoes to fill.
The adjustment made on the OL in the 4th quarter is what helped turn around the running game and protection. Marks was moved back to his starting LT position and O'Cyrus was moved to RT. It seemed to stabilize the blocking scheme and help the Cajuns become more physical up front.

Anyone know if they are going to re-air the game? I forgot to record it at home and would like to watch the broadcast.

Agreed. I’ll admit I didn’t like the move of Torrence and the plugging in of #73. I thought it reeked of desperation, but Marks was getting destroyed on the right side. That adjustment proved to be key. Well done by the players and coaching staff.

That was a great coaching adjustment after seeing the original scheme not have success after the 1st Qtr.

I thought we were going to get our ass kicked because our fans were not focused enough?

I think it showed confidence that this staff isn’t scared to make big adjustments, especially in game.

I took his warning to heart, and I was laser focused on hammering Shiners all game long. I feel like that was the x-factor.
