Cajuns playing better and trying to get back into game. Garnett just made two 3's and Dou gets a rebound and dribbles up the entire court instead of giving it up to a guard on a 3 vs 2 transition break and he pulls up for a 3 instead of passing cross court to a WIDE open Garnett who is hot. Dou is 2 for 13 on 3's this year and Garnett is shooting 52%. Just absolutely no basketball I.Q. So frustrating

What Marlins runs offense, and what he recruits are 2 different things. He has always run this dribble drive offense with the goal to kick out for open 3s. Yet we have no guard on the roster that can get in the paint, and we have no shooters. Our best players are both inside guys that our offensive system does nothing for. It’s why we look absolutely lost on offense and have 5 shot clock violations

Finally playing with some nuts. Jones makes those free throws and it’s an 8 point game which is crazy to think about

Yes, I saw that. For a decent portion of the game the deficit was over 20. I had to check the score twice when I saw it. How is Dayton getting all of these schools to go play them not to change the subject. They've gotten Miami, Kansas and Virginia Tech to go play them at their place beating all three of them. I never thought I'd see Kansas travelling to play a lower level team like that but they got 3 P5 teams to play them at home. We need to do some serious investigating.

Cajuns down 11 and outscoring Houston by 7 in the second half. Jones has come in and given us a boost. UH lost that focus and sharpness they had in the first half and we've opened the game up a bit not allowing their big guys to kill us like they did in the first half.

Go back further, George Almons blocking Hakeem. Probably one of the best pound for pound athletes I've seen wear a MBB uni at UL. Lost to UH and Phi Slama Jamma by 1 @ UH. I think UH might of been ranked #1 at the time.

Well, you are correct about the Kansas and Miami games. The VT game was in Dayton. I swore I remembered Dayton win late in the game at home against Kansas.
