I will support other state schools of my choosing. I can say that Tulane and LSU are not on that list. While I don’t pull for Tech or ULM, I will NEVER support stifling their pursuit of growth or brand promotion. If they want to grow beyond their regional feel, let ‘em. One thing I try not to be is a hypocrite. That said, I will talk trash to them until the lights go out

I believe that’ I pull for other state schools can be true, regardless of support, or knowledge of. For example I occasionally cared about the Hoax with Joe Profit. I rarely pay attention to those other teams record of the day.

People that "root" for people because they have relationships with them and they just so happen to play for a state school is different. I've rooted for ULM to win a few games in my lifetime when it helped the Cajuns and the conference. That's not the same thing as DBag LSU A&M fan lecturing us on who to "root" for or that we should pull for A&M because it's "good for the state." That is complete nonsense.

Of course it’s utterly absurd for anyone to suggest anyone is in some way obligated to support emotionally, financially, or even not ok to pull against any one.

I agree. I have never pulled for Tech in my life. A family member of mine at one time was leaning toward them with a football offer. He ended up not going there. If he would have I would of had to pull for him. I am happy to announce that to this day I still have never pulled for Tech in anything.

But I’d love to hear anyone’s feedback about my rant on “I root for all state schools” guy.

That is my GO TO line on all other state schools boards. Just before they get back doored with the troll hammer. LoL. Only worked for so long on the BBB board. They dont let me post anymore.
