Thread: Alumni Bus Trip (Bus 1 sold out)

When I was thinking back to there being no busses to away games this year, I knew there would only be one to New Orleans.

If handled "with a little want" and a little practice all season long, they could fill 5 busses easy.

I agree but to the degree that I refuse to be in that city for 1 minute. As long as Latoya has her mandates that no other city in Louisiana has I ain’t going. I refuse to play liberal BS.

Except to say there aren’t an unlimited number of busses available and the Alumni Association was damn lucky to get one.

Ah, brings back memories, the long hours, the microscopes, the cadavers, the sleepless nights, the beepers, the codes...

...the four years I spent studying liberal BS at Tulane.

I heard they are in short supply but I have no doubt that with a little planning they could have sold out 5 busses.

Are you sure? You have in depth knowledge about the supply of passenger busses. Maybe with a little planning from you, the chip shortage could be averted. If you don’t know the situation and any knowledge of the facts, I think it would difficult to say that with “ a little planning, a little effort” they could summon up all the buses needed.

There are no other buses available-period.

I'm saying the demand is there but it would require planning.

I'm not talking about bus availability. I heard (loud and clear) they are in short supply.

I was looking for a Penski truck yesterday.

Forget it. I can reserve one in two months.

I was able to find an Enterprise truck on short notice. The only, available truck in Lafayette, Lake Charles and Baton Rouge.

I tried Budget, UHaul, Ideal Lease, Penski and Enterprise. 1 truck available.

If I had reserved 5 trucks a few weeks ago, I could have 5 at my disposal.

    Fortunately I only needed one.

I moved both my boys this summer and had to resort to my bad boy buggy trailer and several trucks. You have to watch the weather and be enterprising in you packing but saved me over $3000. Them there usuals are not cheap to rent.
