Forget it. I can reserve one in two months.

I was able to find an Enterprise truck on short notice. The only, available truck in Lafayette, Lake Charles and Baton Rouge.

I tried Budget, UHaul, Ideal Lease, Penski and Enterprise. 1 truck available.

If I had reserved 5 trucks a few weeks ago, I could have 5 at my disposal.

    Fortunately I only needed one.
    Two men and a truck?!

There were two dozen busses parked at the Lafayette Airport when the last hurricane hit New Orleans. earlier this year.

There is usually an auto transport trailer at Walmart on Ambassador full of cars. Hook up with them. They leave a trailer for a week or so and the cars magically disappear. Been going on for months.

Bus trip was great! Loaded at Cajun Field, beer, soft drinks, and snacks provided. No parking hassles in New Orleans. Driver said this bus came out of Lake Charles. All of the busses in Lafayette were used by the football team, band, and cheerleaders. I will certainly do this again.

I agree. For me, this was a great alternative to having to drive over alone and park and drive back. I did not want to stay overnight in New Orleans.

The curious thing was that there was actually beer leftover when we got back to Lafayette.

My son in law didn’t drink all the beer? I didn’t realize y’all worked together.

I did a bus trip one time and enjoyed it very much. No driving, or parking to worry about. And you can sleep on the way back. A real no worries trip. I would have done it this time but it sold out. Oh well.
