I think it's a safe assumption that the page is now managed largely by UF alums.
Well, to pump their program, they're calling us 'Louisiana'. They want to make him look as good as they can.
So it occurred to me that the teams who play UF likewise want to make their opponents look as good as they can: a) if they win, it's more impressive; b) if they lose, it gives them more cover.
It will be interesting to see if, despite intense lobbying by our Beloved Sister School to the East, the SEC, and following their lead, the other major conferences, drop the 'Lafayette' and the second 'L'.
Our own success is propelling that aspect, as is ESPN. But Billy's success just might accelerate it.
