I said every game is important for any marginal young player coming into the league. The East West all star game is of no more importance than the New Orleans Bowl, especially since it would have pitted Humphrey against Mollette for an entire game. Please quit stretching the black matter of your brain to prove your stupidity on the subject.
The East West Shrine game is the least important "all star game" of any. It always has been. The Senior Bowl has always been the most important "All Star game". But every game a player has is important to their draft stock & even more important when they get down to final training camp cuts. And don't try to tell me that a player's college resume doesn't affect them making an NFL roster, or not. These cuts come down to everything. the number one factor being the one I mentioned to begin with, How does a guy play when the game "is meaningless"?
Senior bowl almost guarantees your getting drafting. Does not mean the other all star bowls are not launching pads for some players.
NFL cuts are an entire different situation . Its where All Americans and Bowl MVPs are cut for UDFA. It's only about what you did to that point with that team.
Pro day could trump any all star game but Sr. Bowl
The regular season and start of the bowl season seemed as normal as it probably could. I can’t recall many postponements/cancellations. Now in a week you’ve got several.
Nevada starting QB Cox is 6'9" ...nice
