This really is kind of a dumb discussion but I'll add to it I guess. I think we'll be in approximately the same position we sit currently in. Mid teens. This projected coaches poll supports that.

It's just a discussion. No one is going to live, or die by it. However, based on all the previous whining about our opponent & how we can't shouldn't move up based on that does one manage to jump a Wake Forest team who beat a 5-7 Rutgers in their bowl some 5 spots ahead? So my question is for the people who read these p!$$ ant prognostications & put stock in them. Who do you guys think are behind these pseudo polls? I would have to base this one on someone who has a ton of P-5 bias which the polls have shown not do recently.

After looking at the bowl wins and loss and the not played games I'd be surprised if we made in into the top 15. I believe we will be 17-19 not that we deserve to be that low but the voters only care about the so call big boys no matter their records. JMO

Agreed Helmut. I’m sure they will ignore traditional AP vote of keeping us in AP top 25 based on two years being ranked. I certainly can understand being moved back a few spots. After all we’ve changed head coach and many others. We’re getting a new quarterback, a new offensive line. I’m thinking we’ll be close with others receiving votes.

Go back and read the LSU coaching search thread. You pushed Billy tirelessly because of some podcasts. Then you were pushing Mel tucker. You got into a ____ing match with a few people when they said Billy wasn’t going to lsu then you openly rooted for him to get the job to spite the people you were arguing with. Then you said nick saban would be the next lsu coach. It’s pretty incredible to say the least.

No they won't you can come out and kick the ____ out of EMU, SLU and Rice and it won't matter to anyone. That is fact. IF and we should be 3-0 at that point. I don't think pollsters are going to take notice when they look at who we beat. You want proof in your pudding. Coastal was 3-0 after week 3, they have defeated Citadel (SLU), Kansas (Rice) and Buffalo (EMU), you want to know where they were ranked in week 3. Number 17. That is not taking notice.

After week 4, they demolished a terrible UMASS team 53-3 and I guess someone took notice because after 4 straight beatdowns to start the season they moved from 17 to 16. The pollsters really took notice at that.

I already had to read the thread as it was being written. I know what I wrote. I also know you are selectively taking whatever parts of what I wrote & creating your own narrative with the bits & pieces you choose to selectively point out. I will say this now & you can use it against me in a week, or two. I believe Nick Saban will announce his retirement after this championship game.
